George Lucas-produced WW2 movie Red Tails get a trailer

Posted by Web Experts8

The film is based on the history of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American fighter pilots to fight in WW2, despite facing prejudice and segregation.

It's a rare film that Lucasfilm does not focus on Indiana Jones or Star Wars universe, but it comes to packing the stunning visual effects expected from Industrial Light and Magic.

There are a lot of potential in the trailer of a powerful story that is suitable for large-scale film that air combat scenes, which could be among the largest of its kind.

If the subject is to be treated with sensitivity, this could be really special, and the planned release in January 2012, will be considered for an Oscar.

The cast includes Terrence Howard, Bryan Cranston and Cuba Gooding Jr. (who has experience with this kind of thing with men of honor).

Director Anthony Hemingway is making his first feature film about the project, which was responsible for episodes of high-profile TV shows like The Wire, CSI: NY and Battlestar Galactica.
